We’re officially going! First stop is Paris on July 6th. Then we’ll be gone for 3-4 weeks, making our way through France, Spain and Italy.
The plane is booked and the first two nights at Vintage Hostel in Paris is reserved. There’s no turning back, and all hell must break loose for us to cancel now.
We spent last Friday evening planning sights to visit in several of the cities where we’re planning on stopping, and the excitement about the trip is really starting to rise
If you want to check out our preliminary travel route, check out this map on Google Maps.
We’ll be back with more information and updates as the trip is closing in. And if you’ve got any tips on what to see or where to go, please let us know - our plans are far from set in stone, because that’s how Interrail is supposed to be
For now, welcome to the blog! Make sure you subscribe

Suggestion: Visit the catacombs of Paris, if you haven’t been there.

Also, stop by Montpellier on your way from Barcelona to Marseille - it’s such a beautiful city.
Have a great trip!

I recommend spending some time discovering Tuscany in Italy, specifically Sienna and the villages around are beautiful. Great people, great food and most important of all, great wine!
As an alternative to hostels, why not check out couchsurfing.com?

I’m not shure Nice is that nice (d’oh!) and Milan is quite ugly for sure… You should go to Verona instead.
Also, you should REALLY visit Sienna before/after Firenze.

Thanks for your suggestions! We’ll definitively take them into consideration
